Superbowl Hike

Before you camp out on the couch with the dips, wings and other Big Game treats, get out and enjoy a hike! We'll be meeting at the Lions Shelter in Rock Cut Park. Leaders will be available in case you do not know the trails. Bring your binoculars for birdwatching, cameras to capture the beauty of late winter, and your mud boots, thanks to this recent warm weather! We'll hike, jog, bike (on the roads as the trails are not yet open to bikes) up to 2 hours. Afterwards we'll meet in case folks want to go out for breakfast. Just think - burn a few calories in the morning and you can snack the rest of the day! Wear your favorite team colors to add to the spirit of the day.
At Rock-Cut State Park, 7318 Harlem Rd. Loves Park, Illinois. Meet at the Lions Shelter. Map
Hike is free, but donations are welcome.
